Vernon Talmadge Obit

Services for 24 year old Vernon Talmadge Wilson were held at 3 p.m. Monday, July 29, 1957 in the Baptist Church at Washington with burial following there. Services were under direction of Primrose Funeral Home.

Vernon was an employee of Hughes Tool Company in Duncan. He died Saturday as result of burns from a gasoline explosion as he was filling a lawn mower.

He was born October 29, 1933 to Thomas A and Annie Wilson in Washington and graduated from high school there. He had lived in Duncan for about 3 years.

He was married to Joyce Marie Hawkins in 1952 and to this union was born two girls Diana and Teresa.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce, of the home, their daughters Diana aged 4 and Teresa age 2; his parents and three brothers and four sisters .
