Ruby Joan Wilson died June 17, 2015 in Goldsby, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years 4 months 17 days.

Gravesite Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, June 19, 2015 at Washington Cemetery under the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service, Inc.

Ruby was born January 31, 1933 in Rosenberg, Texas to James Alvin and Artie (Alan) Huggins. Ruby has lived in the Washington area for the past 46 years coming from California. On June 4, 1951, Ruby and Calvin Wilson were united in marriage in Bakersfield, California. She was a cook and did some janitorial work at the University of Oklahoma, retiring in 1989. She enjoyed gardening and working in her yard, family gatherings, fishing, camping and dancing. Ruby was of the Pentecostal faith.

Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, James and Artie Huggins; her husband, Calvin Wilson; granddaughter, Amy Wilson; 5 brothers and 1 sister.

Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Ross and husband, Tommy of Goldsby, Donna Howard and husband Lee of Grove, Pamela White of Goldsby; son, Alan Wilson of Norman; brother, Forrest Huggins and wife, Judy of Montana; sister, Glenda Wilson of Washington; 10 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
