Stacey James Owen age 32 of Yukon, OK, passed away following an auto accident on Monday, May 23, 2016 in OKC. Stacey was born on June 17, 1983 in Anchorage, Alaska. He was the youngest child of four children born to James Elbert Owen and Deborah Gay (Lacey) Owen. Stacey grew up in Anchorage and graduated from Service High School with the class of 2002. While in high school he was a standout football defensive lineman, playing on two stated championship team at Service High School. At a young age, Stacey learned the value of hard work. He always had a job while in school and even to this day he worked two jobs. He moved to Oklahoma with his parents in 2004. While living here he met the love of his life, a young lady from Washington, Oklahoma by the name of Rebecca Curry. They were married on June 5, 2010 and together raised one daughter, Avery Grace Owen. Following in his father’s footsteps, Stacey began working in the Oklahoma Oil Field in 2005. He first started working as a roughneck and worked his way up the ladder, becoming a MWD Engineer. In 2015 after work in the oil field declined, Stacey did whatever he could to support his family. He was currently working full time at Hobby Lobby and part time as a waiter at Ted Escondido Restaurant. Stacey loved and adored his wife and daughter. When not working, he spent all of his time with them. His also enjoyed watching sports on TV and was an avid O.U. and Dallas Cowboy Football fan. He will be remembered for his outgoing, happy, never met a stranger personality and his love for his family.

He was preceded in death by: Grandparents, Emerson Owen and Carrie Mae Owen; Uncle, Michael Lacey;

He is survived by: Wife and daughter, Rebecca and Avery Owen of the home in Yukon; Parents, James and Debbie Owen of Yukon; Two brothers, Sean Owen and wife Katy of Anchorage, Alaska, Shane Owen and wife Erin of OKC; One sister, Sabrina Kelley of The Woodlands, TX; Maternal Grandparents, Faith Lacey of Yukon, Leo and Jane Lacey of Goldthwaith, TX; Mother and Father-in-law, Jan and Brad Curry of Washington, OK. Two sisters-in-law, Ashley and Katherine Curry both of Washington; Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends; Also two other special members of the family, pet dogs, Bella and Cooper.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday, May 27, 2016 at the Goldsby Baptist Church, 153 W. Center Rd, in Goldsby, OK. Interment will be at the Washington Cemetery in Washington, OK. Arrangements are by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell, OK. Send online condolences @wilsonlittle.com.
