John David Kagebein age 45 of Norman, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 after a long battle with cancer.

David was born on May 21, 1971 in Stuttgart, Arkansas. At a young age he moved to Washington, Oklahoma where he attended school, graduating with the class of 1989. While in high school he played basketball and was a member of the honor society. David later attended college, studying science and physics. Throughout his life, David had various jobs. For 10 years he was employed at the Goldsby Gaming Center in Goldsby, OK. He also enjoyed being in sales and had worked for Direct TV and Convergys telemarketing call center in Moore. For the past eight years he has lived in Norman and was happily married to Lisa (Holbrook) Wolf. David’s favorite pastime was golfing, but he also enjoyed fishing, boating and water skiing. David also loved music and attended many concerts throughout his life. He played guitar and listened to a variety of Genres in music; all at a high volume. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, son, father, brother and friend.

He was preceded in death by: Grandmother, Frances Schorstein, Uncle, Eddy Schorstein;

He is survived by: Wife, Lisa Wolf Kagebein of the home in Norman, Parents, Louise and Keith Bratcher of Washington, Children, Brian and Amanda Wolf of Midwest City, Sarah and Stephen Melton of Noble; Sister, Tammy Lovette and husband Shane Lewis of OKC, Aunt, Lynn Price of OKC, Two grandchildren, Aleena Melton and Braxton Wolf; One nephew, Cody Lewis of OKC. Also several cousins and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00am Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell. Interment will be at the Washington Cemetery. Send online condolences @wilsonlittle.com.
