Abigail Jones, 80, passed away July 24, 2013.  Abigail was born December 8, 1932 in Washington, Oklahoma to Lemuel Noah and Conorous (Bottoms) Dover. 

She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed making wedding dresses, cheerleading uniforms, and even costumes for several OU drama productions.  She was a wonderful cook and loved gardening, especially working in her rose garden. 
Abigail was very friendly and always loved and accepted people for who they were.  She made each and every person feel as though they were her favorite. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandson Travis Key; and her ten siblings.

Survivors include son Randy Jones of Norman, OK; daughters Sherry Johnson and husband Curtis of Claremore, OK; Deborah Smith and husband Scott of Norman; brother Nathan Madden of Goldsby, OK; sister Esther King of Pink, OK; ten grandchildren: Hollie, Dustin, Jessie, Katie, Lucas, Joey, Jenna, Scotty Jennifer, and John; seven great grandchildren; ninety nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.

Services to celebrate Abigail’s life will be 10:00 AM Friday at Alameda Baptist Church, 1503 Alameda St., Norman, OK. Interment will follow at Washington Cemetery.

Arrangements for Abigail and her family were placed in the care of the Vice family at the Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman. Online condolences may be shared at havenbrookfuneralhome.com
