Daniel Lee “Danny” Aiken, age 28 of Washington, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013 at his home. Daniel Lee Aiken was born June 19, 1985 in Oklahoma City, OK, the only child of Gary Lee Aiken and Cheryl Lynn (Byrd) Aiken. He grew up near Washington and attended Washington Schools, graduating in 2003. While in school, Danny was active in sports, especially football and baseball. After school, he began working at various jobs and eventually became an accomplished welder. Danny was a hard worker and a great friend. He was a very gifted and talented sketch artist who enjoyed this hobby immensely. He liked music and taught himself to play the guitar. He enjoyed watching a good football game. He loved being outdoors and never missed an opportunity to go fishing or hunting. Danny Aiken will be dearly missed!

He was preceded in death by: His grandfather: John Byrd

Danny leaves behind: His father: Gary Aiken of Washington, His mother: Cheryl Aiken of Bokchito, OK, Son: Bohen Aiken of Washington Grandparents: Lloyd and Ramona Aiken of Washington, Georgia Byrd of Shawnee, ½ Brothers: Shawn and Dakota, Aunt: Denise Woodrow and husband Mike of Purcell, Uncle: Greg Aiken and wife Robin of Purcell, Several cousins, great aunts and uncles and a host of other family and friends.

Graveside Funeral Services are 12:00 PM Saturday, December 28, 2013, at the Washington Cemetery.
