P. J. Warren, Jr., 73, of Blanchard, died Saturday, March 29, 2014 at his home. He was born January 22, 1941 in Waurika, Oklahoma to P.J. Warren, Sr. and Margaret Ora Mae (Palmer) Warren. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and worked for many years as a dockhand at the freight docks in Oklahoma City. P.J. married Helen Louise Turner on February 12, 1965 in Glasgow, Montana. In his spare time, P.J. enjoyed hunting and fishing. He grew a vegetable garden and used the vegetables he grew to make the best fresh salsa. He loved spending time with his family and was the greatest husband, dad, and papa. He will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one brother.

P.J. is survived by his wife, Helen Warren; one son, Joseph Warren; one daughter, Katrina Warren, all of Blanchard; five grandchildren, Dakota Warren of Blanchard, Ashley Zuniga and husband, Lorenzo, of Oklahoma City, Krysten Murdock of Blanchard, Joyce Whitaker of Oklahoma City, and Kyra Taylor of Olustee; two great grandchildren, Fletcher and Karmen; and many other family and friends.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Tri-City Worship Center. Interment will follow in the Newcastle Memorial Gardens in Newcastle. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com
