After high school she attended one year at OBU in Shawnee. While going to school she was working at Masters Mayflower Moving Co. It was there she met the love of her life, Bill D. Price. For over 40 years she has served her church by playing for worship services, concerts, and special church musicals. She also played the organ and piano for wedding and funerals.

Throughout her life, she enjoyed traveling and going to gospel singing events. While her children and grandchildren were growing up, she attended their sporting events, their school functions and their church activities. She also enjoyed watching OSU and OKC Thunder Basketball.
