Elizabeth “Beth” Michelle Pittman age 36 of Newcastle, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, July 4, 2014. She was born on December 23, 1977 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Beth was the middle child of three children born to James Allen Estes and Phyllis Louise (Belew) Estes. Beth grew up in the Ardmore and the Norman area, graduating from Norman High School with the class of 1996. That same year she married Billy Hayes and together they raised a daughter, Allison. Four years later on August 8, 2000, Beth remarried, marrying Ken Pittman. Together they made their home in Newcastle where they raised two sons of their own, Gage and Mason and her daughter, Allison. For 10 years while her children were growing up, Beth worked for two very close Doctor friends, Dr. Will Beringer and Dr. Tommy Reeder. She only recently quit her job to become a stay at home wife and mother. Beth’s family and church were the two most important things in her life. She loved being a cheerleader mom to Allison, and a soccer and baseball mom to Gage and Mason. She enjoyed camping and spending time in the outdoors and she was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Newcastle. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by: Her Maternal grandparents, Mary Jane and Charles Earl Belew; Paternal grandfather; James Dale Estes; Her brother, Adam Estes on Dec. 19, 2013;

She is survived by: Husband, Ken Pittman of the home; Her children, Allison Hayes, Gage and Mason Pittman; Parents, Phyllis Estes of Moore, Allen Estes of Norman; Paternal grandmother, Alice Estes of Blackwell; Mother and father-in-law, Betty and Roland Pittman of Newcastle; Sister, Leah Shirley and husband Clint of Moore; two nephews, Cade and Cooper Shirley; one niece, Kenzie Shirley; also several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Newcastle. Arrangements are with Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Newcastle. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Newcastle First Baptist Church, “Living the Vision” building fund, P.O. Box 299, Newcastle, OK. 73065.
