Justin Paul Lewis, 41, of Newcastle, died Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at his home surrounded by his family. The son of Wesley Pate Lewis and Thelma Janell (Newton) Lewis, he was born November 2, 1974, in Elk City, Oklahoma.

Justin grew up in Elk City and was a 1993 graduate of Merritt High School. He graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. He married Amy Kathleen McCullough on June 1, 2002, in Denison, Texas. Justin worked as a production technician at Astellas Pharma Technologies in Norman. He was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Norman. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching college football and baseball, especially the OSU Cowboys. He was an adoring husband, an incredible father, and a loving son and brother. His presence will be missed beyond measure.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glen and Nellie Newton, and Pate and Beulah Lewis; aunt and uncle, LeQuita and Willie Lewis; and two uncles, Lowell Mooney and Lynn Newton.

Justin is survived by his wife, Amy Lewis; two daughters, Katelynn and Avery Lewis; two sons, Jacob and Benjamin Lewis, all of the home; his parents, Wesley and Thelma Lewis of Elk City; two sisters, Tammy Gauss and her husband, Rob, of New Jersey, and Christy Lewis of Oklahoma City; his parents-in-law, Pat and Terri McCullough of McAlester; sisters-in-law, Ann Marie Rutledge and her husband, James, of Ardmore, Kimberly McCullough of Oklahoma City, and Emily McCullough and her fiancé, Cody Goates, both of Stillwater; nieces and nephews, Trey Farrow, Peyton Gauss, Madalynne Gauss, Olivia Rutledge, William Rutledge, and Samuel Rutledge; his two best friends, Michael Freeman and Chad Newton, both of Elk City; a special uncle and aunt, Dana and Georgia Johnson of Norman; numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many other loved ones and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 1, 2016, at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Norman. Burial will follow in the Newcastle Memorial Gardens in Newcastle.
