James Hugh Hembree Jr. age 63, of Newcastle, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018.

James was born on August 21, 1954 in Bakerfield, CA. the youngest of nine children. His parents were James Hugh Hembree Sr. and Vallis Alma (Erwin) Hembree. James grew up in California and attended school in Turlock, California. After his junior year in high school his family moved to Dibble, OK where he finished his senior year, graduating in 1972.

James married the love of his life, Joleta Faye Deaville on March 11, 1980. They made their home in Dibble for 24 years before moving to Newcastle in 2004. James worked for Norman Supply Co. for many years and was currently the sales manager for Morrison Supply Co.

James loved spending time in the outdoors and raising farm animals. While living in Dibble, He enjoyed raising goats and was known as the goat man. After moving to Newcastle he enjoyed raising cattle and other farm animals. He also enjoyed 4-wheeling, doing yard work and tinkering around the home and in the garage.

James loved his wife, children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by:

His parents, James and Vallis Hembree; Eight brothers and sisters;

He is survived by:

Wife, Joleta Hembree of the home in Newcastle,
Children, Dwain Hembree and wife Khrystian of Dibble, Dawn Hembree of Dibble, Heidi Hembree of Blanchard;
Six grandchildren, Katie, Reilly, Hannah, Hailee, James III and Bella;
Mother-in-law, Faye Deaville of Newcastle,
Father-in-law, Randolph Newman Deaville of OKC,
Sister, Doris Jackson of Duncan,
Brother, Steve Heidelberg and wife Twila of Ada,
One uncle, Jody Paul Deaville and wife Toni of Newcastle,
In-laws, Jody Newman Deaville of OKC, Cheryl Wilson and husband James of Newcastle, Randy Deaville and wife Donna of Ohio.
Several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, Feb, 20, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Newcastle.

Interment will be at the Newcastle Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8pm Monday evening, Feb. 19, 2018 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home, 3132 Tri City Ave, Newcastle, OK.
