Brian Gene Brawner age 41 of Pauls Valley, formerly of Newcastle, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at his home in Pauls Valley. Brian was born March 29, 1973 in Oklahoma City. He grew up in Newcastle, OK where he graduated from high school with the class of 1991. Brian loved music and working with his hands. Having a love for music while in high school Brian started his own band called “Tragedy”, where he was the lead singer and played bass guitar. During his junior and senior years he attended Mid-America Votech and studied Heating and Air Conditioning. After high school Brian landed his first job as a parts driver for Fleming Ford in Newcastle. This led him to his life long career of working on automobiles. Brian began working for Seth Wadley 19 years ago and became a master technician in the Ford automotive repair industry. He was currently the no.1 automotive technician at Seth Wadley’s Ford in Pauls Valley. Not only did Brian love working on automobiles, but he enjoyed building and flying remote controlled airplanes. He spent countless hours flying, crashing and repairing his airplanes. All of Brian’s hobbies included work with his hands and being in the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, boating, canoeing, parasailing, working in his yard, gardening and cooking on the grill. He loved life and he will be remembered for his friendly smile and his love for his family.

He was preceded in death by: Two uncles, Danny and Randy Glenn; A niece, Madison Pritchard;

He is survived by his loving blended family: Parents, Frank and Eunice Gene Brawner of Stratford, OK, Debra and Ernie Billen of Newcastle; Grandmother, Carlene Lambert of OKC, Two sons, Brian Brawner Jr. of Newcastle, Reis Brawner of OKC; Daughter, Katie Brawner of OKC; Six siblings and their spouses; Renee and Chris Lewis of Newcastle, Kurt and Karen Billen of Deer Creek, Robin and Kelsie Fielder of Lexington, Tonya and Jerry Stanley of Edmond, Christy and Paul Robertson of Blanchard, Martie and Kevin Lilly of Moore, His fiancé, Denise McKee of Pauls Valley, Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday, May 23, 2014 at Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Newcastle. Interment will be at Newcastle Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are with Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Newcastle.
