Steven E. Shepard, 30, of Purcell, Okla.; chief warrant officer, Army. Shepard was one of two soldiers killed Monday when their AH-64D Apache Helicopter crashed in Mashahidah, Iraq, north of Baghdad. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 3rd Aviation Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division at Ft. Bragg, N. C.
