Funeral services for Perry C. King, 62, of Wayne are pending with Wadley’s Funeral Service. Mr. King died Sept. 12, 2005 at Norman Regional Hospital.

A memorial service for Perry Coleman (Wolfee) King, 62, of Wayne was held Sept. 18, 2005 at the Perry home in Wayne. Services were under the direction of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
Mr. King died Sept. 12, 2005 at his home.
He was born Jan. 14, 1943 in Wister, Okla., the son of Leonard and Daisy King. He spent most of his childhood in Wister and in his teen years moved to McAlester for a short time. He lived in Oklahoma City until the mid 80s except while serving in the U.S. Army at Fort Polk, La., in the 60s.
In the early 80s he moved to Alaska for four years to work in the oil field. In 1988 he returned to Oklahoma and settled in Wayne where he lived until his death.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, L.C., Bobby Gene and Paul King; two sisters, Leamon and Hazel King and a granddaughter, Bobbie Jean Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda, of the home; her son, Ty Brown of Ardmore; her daughter, Amy Brown of Oklahoma City; his son, Seth King of Oklahoma City; one granddaughter; two brothers, Buel King of Mena, Ark., and Corrin King of Del City and four sisters, Rosa Fassio of Hartshorne, Ruby West of Oklahoma City, Shirley Medcalfe of Mena, Ark., and Oma Faye Creech of Moore.
