Funeral services for Delmer H. Sharp, 84, of Fresno, Calif., were held Aug. 8, 2005 in Fresno.

Mr. Sharp died Aug. 3, 2005.

He was born Sept. 23, 1920 in Stigler. He graduated from Dibble High School May 18, 1939.

Mr. Sharp worked in the cotton ginning industry for 30 years, retiring from Kerman Co-op Gin as manager in 1965.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Lester Sharp and a sister, Jewel Lambert. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Florene; two daughters, Barbara Burdine and Deborah Omelas; 13 grandchildren and a sister, Opal Dudley of Purcell.
