Betty Jo Tucker, age 84 of Rosedale, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Betty Jo Easley was born December 19, 1929 in Rosedale, the 3rd of 5 children born to Calvin Andrew Easley and Laura Era (Miser) Easley. She spent her early years in Rosedale and attended school there. Betty married the love of her life; a young man named Tom Tucker on April 10, 1947. They moved to Oceanside, CA where together they raised their only son, Ron. Betty stayed busy as a homemaker, caring and providing for her family. After many years, they returned home to Oklahoma, calling Norman home. During this time, Betty worked in Food Service for Norman Public Schools before retiring. After retiring, Betty and Tom longed for home and returned to Rosedale to the family homestead, and have called it home since. Betty was a wonderful wife and mother, grandmother, sister and a good friend. She especially adored her grandsons, Ryan and Chris and great grandson, Seth. She will be dearly missed!

She was preceded in death by: Her Parents, Calvin and Laura Easley and Siblins, Pat Fox, George Easley and Calvin Easley, Jr.

Betty leaves behind: Her son, Ron Tucker of Norman; Sister, Lavina “Bennie” Dewitt of Newalla; Grandsons, Ryan Tucker of Norman and Chris Tucker and wife Nikki of Denver; Great grandson, Seth Tucker; Many nieces, nephews, and a host of other of family and friends.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Monday, July 28, 2014, at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Hillside Cemetery.
