Gayle Collins Sissney age 75 of Purcell, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017, at the Sunset Estates Nursing Home.

Lavois Gayle Loftin was born June 8, 1941 in Healdton, OK, the youngest of 13 children born to Robert and Eva (Cunningham) Loftin. She was raised in Healdton and attended Healdton schools. Gayle married at a young age, marring John “Cleat” Collins in 1959. They settled in Purcell where together they raised two sons, Jerry and Terry. Gayle was a homemaker and it brought her great joy, caring for her family. She was selfless and was always putting others first. This served her well as she later worked as a private caregiver. She was a great comfort for many who were in need! When not working, Gayle enjoyed tending to her garden. She canned many vegetables throughout the years and was an excellent cook. She later married Bill Sissney and cared for him until she was no longer able to. Gayle was a women of great faith and a Godly woman. She shared the love of Christ with her kindness and caring. She was a longtime and faithful member of the Sunray Baptist Church in Purcell and later the Rosedale Baptist Church. She will be dearly missed!

She was preceded in death by: Her husband, John “Cleat” Collins; Her parents, Robert and Eva Loftin and 10 siblings.

Gayle leaves behind: Her sons, Jerry Collins and wife Cathy of Lexington, OK and Terry Collins and wife Susan of Purcell; 7 grandchildren, Stefanie Klein and husband Jerrod, Cailey Collins and fiancé Dalton Bebout, Colton Collins, Amanda Ricardo, Jeffrey Collins, Brandy Skinner and Zach Collins; 13 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Betty Prentice of Grapevine, TX and Lena Mae Simms of Westlake, TX; Husband, Bill Sissney; Several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Graveside Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at the Hillside Cemetery in Purcell. Arrangements are by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
