Leticia E. Shea age 69 of Midwest City passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012 in Midwest City. She was born on October 10, 1942 in Quezon City, Philippines. Leticia grew up in the Philippines, raised by Nuns in a Catholic Convent. On February 12, 1970 she married Dale “Gene” Shea, of Purcell, OK. Gene at the time was in the U. S. Navy and was stationed at the Subic Bay Naval Station in the Philippines. During their first year of marriage they lived in Norfolk, VA. In 1971 they moved to Japan and lived there until Gene retired in 1979. They moved back to Oklahoma and for the past 32 years they have lived in Midwest City. Leticia worked most of her life in the banking business as a Teller. She loved to meet people and they enjoyed meeting her. Throughout her life, Leticia’s favorite past time was gardening, especially flower gardening. In 1999, she had to retire from doing all of the things she enjoyed, because of her failing health.

She is survived by: Husband: Dale “Gene” Shea of the home; Daughter: Marlet Cotledge and husband Milo of OKC; Two grandsons: Marc Cotledge and Craig Teal; Two great grandchildren: Alyssa and Jamari; Also many in-laws and host of friends.

A rosary service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell. The funeral mass service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Purcell. Interment will be at the Hillside Cemetery in Purcell.
