Jackie L. Nelson, of Wynnewood, went to be with the Lord on January 9, 2015 from Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 75 years.   

Jackie was born to Curtis E. and Bessie (Roberts) Nelson on February 21, 1939 of Mannsville, Oklahoma . He attended school in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Army as a Nuclear Weapons Maintenance Specialist Electric Equipment Tester from July 17, 1963 to July 16, 1965. He was married to Kay Luttrell of Lexington in Wayne, Oklahoma on November 20, 1983. He worked for Kerr-McGee until his retirement.

Surviving family include his wife, Kay of the home; sisters, Cleo Timothy and her husband, Bill of Ada, and Winnie Kirley of Goldsboro, North Carolina.

Jackie was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Roger Nelson and one sister, Jeanette Trotman.

His final resting place will be at the Hillside Cemetery in Purcell, Oklahoma. Services for cremation are under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
