Jessie Mae Martin died December 12, 2018 in Davis, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years 2 months 9 days. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel.

Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.


Jessie was born October 3, 1942 in Purcell, Oklahoma to Jess Wilbert and Ollie Lee (McEwin) Barnes. She was raised in the Purcell area, graduating from Wayne in 1960. On October 25, 1967, she married Lonnie Martin in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They were together for 48 years before Lonnie passed away in 2015. Jessie enjoyed collecting Hippopotamus’, playing cards, and watching Cash Cab on television. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
 

Jessie is preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Ollie Barnes; husband, Lonnie Martin; son, Paul Wayne Burleson, Jr., daughter, Cynthia Hotze; infant child, Tracy Martin; siblings, Johnnie Barnes and Jackie Barnes.

Survivors include her daughter, Connie Koch of Sulphur; daughter, Tammy Dye and spouse, Jennifer of Sulphur; daughter, Loretta Beverly and spouse, Robert of Oakland, OK; daughter, Deanna Vaughn and spouse, Jerry of Davis; son, Lonnie Martin, Jr of Crowley, TX; daughter in law, Kathy Burleson of Dougherty; 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
