Whereas, it pleased Almighty God to remove from his earthly labors our beloved Brother Joseph H. Marquis,
Whereas, we, the members of St. Joseph Court, Catholic Order of Foresters, sincerely mourn the departure of our brother and feel by his death our order has lost a sincere and honest worker, his wife a king and devoted husband and society an honest and loyal citizen; therefore,
Be it resolved, that we offer to his bereaved wife and children our sincere and heartfelt sympathy in their hour of deep affliction and commend her and her family to trust in the wisdom of our Heavenly Father, who does all things for the best.
Resolved, that as a mark of esteem and love for our brother, that a copy of these resolutions be spread upon the minutes of St. Joseph Court 1462, and also a copy be sent to the family.
