Wadley's Funeral Service

NORMAN — John King, 79, died Thursday, June 10, in Purcell. Services will be 11 a.m. today at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell, under the direction of Wadley's Funeral Service .

John was born July 11, 1930, to Herman and Willie Mae King in Denton, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Doris; children Sherry and Jay Stewart, Lessa and Jerry Bowen, Anita and Kevin Summers, John Jr. and Delinda King; grandchildren Angie and Justin Ivey, Justin Burton, Stacey Stewart, Cheyenne King, Sierra Stewart, Brandon and Joslin Mumford, Brandi Summers; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Blake and Braxton Ivey, Mason and Alexis Mumford; and siblings Bob and Ed King.
