Regginal Dewayne Hudson, age 62 of Purcell, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015.

Reggie was born January 26, 1953 in Purcell, the older of two children born to Marlene Hudson. He grew up in Purcell and attended Purcell schools. While in school, Reggie enjoyed playing sports and particularly basketball. Throughout his life, he worked in various jobs, living in Oklahoma City and Norman for a time, before returning to Purcell. Reggie worked for the City of Purcell for several years and later at Walmart. He was an avid sports fan, and huge fan of all O. U. sports. He loved listening to music, and especially jazz music. He attended the 1st Baptist Church of Santa Fe in Purcell. Reggie was a good friend to many!

He was preceded in death by: His mother, Marlene Katherine Hudson; His uncle, Harold “Buddy” Hudson and Grandparents, Monroe and Eula Mae Hudson.

Reggie leaves behind: His son, Billy Whitworth and wife Ashley of Norman; Daughters, Felicia Whitworth of Norman and Precious Roundtree of OKC; Sister, Christina Hudson of Lexington; 4 grandchildren, Aidan, Adisyn, Arrington and LaVonte; Nephew, Devin and a host of other family and friends.

A Graveside Memorial Service is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 14, 2015, at the Hillside Cemetery in Purcell. Arrangements are by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
