Johnny Lee Harris, age 56, of Wayne, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015. Johnny was born March 20, 1959 in Pauls Valley, OK, the 2nd of 3 children born to Lee Harris and Joyce LaJune (Wilson) Harris. He grew up in Wayne and attended Wayne Schools where he got his early education. Johnny was content with the simplicity of his life. His attention to detail was unmatched as he followed his daily routines and schedules. When he was younger, he enjoyed listening to music and he never missed an opportunity to go fishing. He was an avid recycler and one could always find him with a Dr. Pepper and red hot fireballs. Johnny was very attentive to his family’s needs, but since the loss of his mom, he concentrated mainly on the needs of his dad, Lee. He was loving, unselfish, and giving of himself and his time freely. He was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Wayne.

He was preceded in death by: His mother, Joyce Harris in June of 2010 and Brother-in-law, Billy Williams.

Johnny leaves behind: His father, Lee Harris of Wayne; Sister, Annita Halladay of Wayne and husband Doc; Brother, Kenneth Harris, of Wayne; Sister-in-law, Julie Harris, of Norman; Nieces and Nephews, Ray Williams and wife Raven and their children, MaKayla and Austin, all of Norman and Leslea Hale and husband Nate and their children, Taylor and Kylea, all of Norman and Several aunts and uncles, special cousins and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Services are scheduled 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at the Wayne First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Hillside Cemetery.
