Ann Dunkin, age 74 of Purcell, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018, at the Norman Regional Healthplex.

Ann Alicia Wellman was born July 17, 1943 in Lexington, Oklahoma, the 3rd of 4 children born to Cecil and Fern Wellman. She was raised in Purcell and attended Purcell Schools, graduating in 1961. Ann married Mickey Garrison and to this union two children, son Mike and daughter Kelley were born. Ann worked as a secretary over the years. She worked both in the public school system and for Suddenlink. Ann’s greatest joy though was being a homemaker. She cherished her family and was a first class mother and grandmother. She traveled the country and was their biggest supporter in all of their sporting events and other activities. Ann was all about her family. She was a woman of great faith, and a faithful member of the Lexington First Baptist Church. She was very giving of her time and talents, and a great supporter and volunteer for the clothes closet there. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother, and a true friend to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by: Her parents, Cecil and Fern Wellman; Two brothers, Skeet Wellman and Vernon Wellman; Sister, Carolyn Mitchusson and Brother-in-law, Bob Mitchusson.

Ann is survived by: Her children, Mike Garrison of Amarillo and Kelley Ditmore and husband Johnny of Ft. Worth; Sister-in-law, Charlotte Wellman of Ft. Worth; 4 grandchildren, Emily Ditmore and Jesse Ditmore, both of Edmond, Dustin Naverette and wife Beth of Amarillo and Brandon Kalka of Austin; 3 great grandchildren, Alyssa, Avery and Isaiah and A host of other family and friends.

Graveside Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at the Hillside Cemetery in Purcell.
