Shirley Ann Coutu, age 75 of Norman, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015, at the Purcell Municipal Hospital. Shirley Ann Spiers Coutu was born August 30, 1939 in Purcell, OK. Shirley married the love of her life, Maurice Coutu, in Las Vegas. Maurice passed away in 1969 after tragic car accident. Shirley then returned to Oklahoma and began working at the Central State Hospital in Norman. She retired as a food service worker, after more than 30 years of dedicated service. She could then focus on going to garage sales more, which was her favorite past time. She will be dearly missed!

She was preceded in death by: Husband, Maurice Coutu; Mother, Rosey May (Thompson) Spiers; Father, Willie Spiers; Step mother, Ottie Spiers; Sister, Billie Miller; Step sister, Odell Harmon; Nephew, Bruce Miller and a Brother in law, Stanley Miller.

Shirley leaves behind: Her sister, Frances Williams of OKC; Brother, Thomas Spiers of Missouri and Many nieces, grand nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 26, 2015, at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Hillside Cemetery.
