WILSON-LITTLE FUNERAL HOME
PURCELL-NEWCASTLE, MCCLAIN CO, OK
(permission granted)

Sean Cole, age 30 of Purcell, entered Heaven’s Gates Wednesday, November 28, 2018.

Sean was born January 8, 1988 in Norman. He was the youngest son, and one of four children of Bill and Michaele Cole. Sean was raised in Purcell and attended Purcell Schools. At age 4, Sean was diagnosed with Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia, or CAH. This genetic condition affects normal hormonal growth through the adrenal glands. Sean and family faced many challenges, both in diagnosis and the treatment. There were many doctor visits and cross country trips to see specialist, but Sean pushed through. He was like any other kids his age, and pursued similar interest. By age 13, Sean was facing another challenge. This challenge was a new diagnosis of mastocytosis, an even rarer condition that occurs when mast cells accumulate in skin and/or internal organs. But Sean continued to learn and understand how to live with and manage his condition, and he graduated from Purcell High School with the Class of 2006. Sean’s drive and determination led him to the University of Oklahoma, where he obtained Degrees in both Political Science and Theology. After graduating, he entered the work force, and spent the next several years as a journeyman plumber. Sean was an avid OU Sooner fan, and this led to many spirited debates with his family and friends. He was a gun enthusiast, and never missed an opportunity to go hunting. Sean needed another challenge, and so he purchased a ’72 Model Chevelle. He spent countless hours restoring and refinishing it, and he loved his car.   Every day was an adventure with Sean, and he enjoyed every minute of every day. He loved the Lord, and he cherished his family and friends, and he embraced the challenges in his journey. He will be forever missed, but we celebrate knowing he is resting with the Savior.

Sean is survived by:
