Sherri (Lancaster) Banks

Sherri L. Banks, 70, passed away in her sleep very peacefully on July 7, 2015.  She was born November 15, 1944 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Nelce and Charlene (Grant) Lancaster.

Sherri was a National Merit Scholar and attended George Washington University in D.C. She was very proud to be an employee of the Pioneer Library System for 24 years.  She was a voracious reader and enjoyed classic films.  Sherri was a staunch supporter of civil and women's rights and very interested in politics. 

Sherri is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Banks of New York City,  her son, Gregory Banks of Maryland, her   sister Diana Riddle and her husband Terry Riddle, and Sherri’s niece Megan Hart and nephew Matthew Riddle. Her  brothers, Jeffrey Lancaster of Fairfield, CA and Jonathon Lancaster of Redwood City, CA. And many loving cousins, most especially the Grant family.

Preceded in death by Nelce Martin Lancaster and Charlene Grant Lancaster, her parents.
