Rosella Austin died Tuesday, July 6. She was born Nov. 19, 1916 in Bunkie, La., to Daniel and Genie Jefferson.Mrs. Austin was married to Delbert Austin for almost 50 years and they raised nine children together.
She is survived by six sons, Johnny and Veronica, Oliver, Lionel and Janet, Gregory, Marvin and Angela; one daughter, Delores and Ledrue; daughter-in-law, Mary Compton; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
