Ila Mae (Hall) Allen March 29, 1912-September 28, 2014 Ila passed September 28, 2014 in Kaiser Hospital, Walnut Creek, CA. She and two of her brothers ( Herman, and Millard) all lived to be over 100 years of age. The parents V. J. Hall and Nancy Thompson Hall had seven children.

The Hall family came from Alabama to Oklahoma in the early 1900’s. Ila married John Elmer (EJ) Allen of Wayne, OK and had two sons (Joe dec. 1999, and Donald ).

Ila is survived by the immediate family: son Joe’s wife Jo Anne Lemons and grand daughter Rhonda Dunnahoo, great grandchildren: Forrest, Taylor, and Chase; grand daughter Traci Taylor, great grand daughters: Courtney and Kylee; and son Donald, grandson Peter, and grandson Mark, and great grand daughters Moriah, and Amelia; and the extended family: Boyd Anderson, Ruby Anderson Pounds, Ronald Anderson, Betty Hall Riedel, and Cloe Ann Hall McClain, Sherri Lynne Hall Bell, and Ann Driskell.

Ila grew up in Wayne, Ok. After marrying, she and E. J. would make Purcell, OK a home for their children; in their later years they would live in Oklahoma City, OK. After the death of her husband Elmer in 1989, Ila moved to Danville, CA in 2002 to be near her only living child, Donald.

Ila was a dedicated Christian woman and was a member of Crestview Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, OK. She will be buried beside her husband of 60 years in the Hillside Cemetery of Purcell, OK.
