The funeral for Imogene "Jean" Scruggs, 85 will be at 10:00 AM Friday September 11, 2020 at First United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. P. J. Stewart and Rev. Jimmy Berkenbile. Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM at Greenhill Cemetery in Lindsay under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Jean was born at Lindsay on August 4, 1935 to William A. and Clara Imogene Adams Eastwood and died Tuesday September 8, 2020 at Hennessey Care Center.

She married Arlis Scruggs in Lindsay on August 30, 1952. The couple later moved to Hennessey. They started Rayco Services in 1969.

Jean is survived by two sons Arlan Scruggs and wife Terri of Hennessey, Rory Scruggs and wife Barbara of Coweta; two sisters-in-law Joy and Jewel; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arlis; one son Allen Scruggs; three brothers and one sister.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to the American Heart Association with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
