Virginia Lee Harris, 84, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Lindsay, died Saturday, October 22, 2016. The daughter of Clifford Carter Rhoades and Edna Clara (Deen) Rhoades, she was born January 26, 1932 in Sentinel, Oklahoma.

She married Ray Freeman Harris on November 18, 1951 in Elk City, Oklahoma. Virginia worked as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell and then AT&T and retired after 30 years of service. She enjoyed playing dominoes and checkers and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Lee Ann Harris Gill; her husband, Ray Harris; one sister, Nelda Van Orsdol, and a brother, Weldon Rhoades.

Virginia is survived by two sisters, Reda Clay of Burnet, Texas, and Doris Miller of Eunice, New Mexico; one brother, Cecil Rhoades and wife, Jo Ann, of Bismarck, North Dakota; and many other loved ones and friends.

Graveside funeral and burial will be at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
