Roy Samual Weese, 80, of Dibble, died Sunday, November 3, 2013 at his home. The son of Roy C. and Martha Ellen (Moody) Weese, he was born October 13, 1933 in Oklahoma City.

Roy was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He married Dolores Darlene Miller on February 7, 1952 in Oklahoma City. Roy owned and operated a heavy haul escort company for many years until his retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching John Wayne movies, fishing for catfish, and riding motorcycles. Roy’s greatest love was spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Seth Roy Weese; his twin brother, Troy Weese; his brother, Lloyd Weese; and his sister-in-law, Betty Weese.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Weese, of Dibble; his sons, Randall Weese and wife, Linda, of Dibble, Larry Weese and Wilma Terrel of Moore, Bryan Weese and wife, Melinda, of Yukon, Paul Weese and wife, Jenny, of Missouri, and Leslie Weese and wife, Kelli, of South Carolina; his daughter, Sandra Newman and husband, Bobby, of Dibble; 22 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren; brother, Lester Weese and wife, Connie, of Muskogee; and sister-in-law, Hanna Weese of Moore; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, November 7, 2013 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Dibble Cemetery.
