Jimmy Richard Mullins age 76 of Dibble, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at his home.

He was born March 20, 1939 in Washington, Oklahoma. He was the youngest of four sons born to Cecil B. Mullins and Euna Helen (Mayo) Mullins. Jimmy grew up a farm boy learning how to work hard in the cotton and broom corn fields. His family lived near Washington where he attended school and graduated with the class of 1957. While in high school, Jimmy drove a school bus for several years.

In the summer of 1957, he married Betty J. Madden and together they raised four children. After he married, Jimmy joined the U.S. Army and proudly served his country for two years, and was honorably discharged as Captain. He then attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated with B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering. This lead to his life long career as an Engineer in the oil and gas industry. Most of his years he spent working for Phillips Petroleum, and Cox Oil Company.

Jimmy later married Loretta Mackey Reynolds. They were married on March 25, 1977 in Banner, OK, and now two families became one bigger happy family with seven children. Jimmy lived in the Norman area for 17 years before moving to a farm in Dibble in 1984. He loved farming, raising wheat, hay and cattle. Throughout his life he enjoyed traveling to see his children and grandchildren. While living in the Dibble area he attended the Dibble Free Will Baptist Church. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by: His parents, Cecil and Euna Mullins; Brother, J.E. Mullins and wife Mattie Bell; Son, Glen Alan Mullins and Step-son, Daryl Reynolds.

Jimmy leaves behind: His wife, Loretta of the home; 5 Children, Debra Strickland and husband Tom of Peterborough, NH, Gary Mullins of Norman, Beverly Mullins of Dibble, Jenni Pinnick of Norman and Chris Reynolds and wife Angie of Norman; 2 brothers, Corky Mullins of Collierville, TN and Jerry Mullins and wife Becky of Tucson, AZ; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; Many nieces and nephews, cousins, and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 14, 2015, at the Dibble Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Dibble Cemetery. Arrangements by Wilson-Little Funeral Home of Purcell. Send online condolences at wilsonlittle.com.
