Vannie Lou Ledbetter, 90, of Meeker, died Friday, April 8, 2016, at her home. The daughter of William and Amelia May (Sitz) Speaks, she was born August 16, 1925 in Monette, Arkansas.

Vannie married James Butler Ledbetter on December 31, 1959 in Norwalk, California. She was Christian in faith and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, sewing, and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Janet Chapman; two brothers, Carmen and Harvey; and one sister, Mazie.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, James Ledbetter, of Meeker; four daughters, Becky Lynn Chapman, Cindy Sue Biochi, and Melody Ann Bennett, all of California, and Kay Donna Romine of Oregon; three sons, Lonnie Ray Harding of Arizona, Ronald Eugene Harding of Florida, and James Dale Ledbetter of Meeker; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; one sister, Novella Ramsey of Arizona; one brother, Harold Speaks of Tennessee; and many other loved ones and friends.

Graveside service and burial will be at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Dibble Cemetery in Dibble. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
