Graveside services for Barton Tannehill were held Monday August 23, 1999 at 11:00 AM at Dibble Cemetery in Dibble , Oklahoma with the Reverend Everett Owens officiating. Capitol Hill Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. 

Barton J. Tannehill was born November 23, 1929 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Tillman and Ethel Tannehill and on passed away on August 20, 1999 after a long illness with cancer at the age of 69 in Oklahoma City.

He married Deloris Dutton on September 6, 1947 and they moved to Oklahoma City.
Barton was a successful brick mason and loved hunting and fishing and especially spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers,Archie and Preston; 2 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Survivors include his wife, Deloris; a son, Gary and wife, Phyllis of Ellwell, Michigan; six daughters, Donna Maness and husband, Bruce of Moore, Paula Jaurez and husband, Leonard ofMaramec, Sandra Smith and husband, Frank of El Reno, Loretta Carlton and husband, Bob of OKC, Shella Glaze and husband, Clif of OKC, and Gayla Tannehill of Tuttle. Barton has 19 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; one sister, Marylee of Dibble , Oklahoma, and many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank all of his doctors and nurses for the special care and concern for our loved one. We love you Daddy.
