Nina Tennessee Boyd, 97, of Blanchard, died Sunday, January 13, 2018, in Blanchard. The daughter of Oland Luther Ashford and Gracie Marie (Corley) Ashford, she was born December 9, 1921 in Naples.

Nina married Grady Loyd Boyd on January 3, 1942 in Grady County. She was a very talented woman. Nina was active for many years at Naples Baptist Church, Naples Fire Department, Lucille Blue Bonnet Club, Blanchard Eastern Star, and the Farmers Market.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady; her parents; and two brothers, Velman Ashford and Orvill Ashford.

She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Harris of Noble and Betty Clark of Blanchard; one son, Sammy Boyd and his wife, Laurel, of Blanchard; four grandchildren, Amy Patterson, Wendy Klein, Catherine Boyd, and Adam Boyd; five great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 17, 2019, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard.

Burial will follow in the Dibble Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
