Funeral services for Euel Dean Stone of Stratford, were held Monday, December 27, 2010 at 10:00 am at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Bro. Earl Blankenship. Interment followed at Byars Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
He was born September 12, 1933 in Egypt, Oklahoma to Floyd L. and Edna Lee (Mullins) Stone and went to be with his Lord, December 21, 2010 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years. He had lived in the the Byars and Stratford area all of his life.
He and Linda Jean Ring were married on June 17, 2001 in Purcell, Oklahoma . He worked as a Carpenter and was a member of Highway Tabernacle.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a son, Randy as well as 9 brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Linda of the home; 3 children, Cathy Butler and her husband, Archie; Kim Stone, all of Stratford; and Justin Stone and his wife, Whitney, now stationed in Shiloh, Illinois and is serving our country in Afghanistan; 2 step children, Jeffery Morgan of Stratford; and Anthony Morgan and his wife, Jennifer, of Byars; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Roy Stone of Byars; 1 sister, Jewel Myers of Kansas; and a host of nieces and nephews.
