Lois N. Grider was born on October 26, 1915, in Byars, Oklahoma to Charles M. and Gertrude (Pierce) Grider and departed this life on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, in Meeker, Oklahoma, at the age of 95.She and Darrell Cannon Acuff were married on December 23, 1958 and he preceded her in death on April 20, 2002. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.She was preceded in death by her husband Darrell, her parents, one infant daughter, three sons, 2 brothers, and four sisters.She is survived by daughters, Dorothy Demo of Meeker, Lillian Wall of Byars; sisters, Floye Boutwell of Bethany, Eula C. Wilcox of Byars; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.
