Dennis Lee Zindel, 65, of Blanchard, died Sunday, October 2, 2016, in Norman. The son of Francis Conrad Zindel and Mary Edna (Beemen) Zindel, he was born April 26, 1951 in Decatur, Illinois.

Dennis served in the U.S. Army and later worked for Firestone Tire for over 20 years. He married Almalee “Allee” Lane on March 25, 1973, in Glen Rose, Texas. He was a member of the Blanchard VFW, American Legion, and the Tractor Pulling Society. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors, riding his motorcycle, hot rods, and working in his garage and yard.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sharon Kay.

He is survived by his wife, Allee Zindel, of Blanchard; one daughter, LaTanya Zindel, of Blanchard; two sons, Dennis Zindel, II and his wife, Tara, of Dibble and Conrad Zindel and his wife, Brandy, of Blanchard; nine grandchildren, Teanna, Haley, Danielle, Trey, Mason, Zeke, Chyanne, Paige, and Gavin; two great grandchildren, Aiden and Ava; two sisters, Mary Sue and Cathy, both of Illinois; one brother, Larry, of Illinois; and many other loved ones and friends.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 7, 2016, at the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.comm.
