Wilson, James M. 59, died June 29, at Dennison Texas Hospital, he was formerly a Blanchard resident.

Had a Masters degree from OSU, taught at Carney, Dale and Purcell. He was a Loan Officer and Vice President at the First American Bank of Purcell. Resident of Durant since 1968. President and Director of Durant Bank and Trust, President and Chairman Of The Board, of the First State Bank of Idabel and Boswell State Bank. On June 1, 1982 he was appointed President and Chairman of the board of the new ly founded American Nat'l Bank of Durant. He was appointed in 1971 to serve on the Okla Security Comm. and was presently chairman of that commission. He was a member of the Durant United Methodist Church, Blanchard Masonic Lodge, and also served in WWII.

Survivors, wife Helen of the Home; 3 daughters, Mrs. Ronnie ""Nancy'' Maynard of Purcell, Mrs. Susie Scibek of Durant, Mrs. Jeff ""Janie'' Wunderlick, Richardson TX; mother, Myrtle Wilson and sister, Florene Wilson both of OKC; brother, Billy Rene Wilson of Blanchard; 5 grandchildren, James Dale and Than Hall Maynard, Julie Scibek , Stephanie and Paul Wunderlick.

Services are Friday July 1, 10:00am First United Methodist Church, Durant, Rev. Wayne Estes officiating, assisted by Rev. Don Combs.

Committal service at Blanchard Cemetery at 4:00pm.

The family has requested memorials to a Scholarship Fund in Public Relations at Southeastern Oklahoma State University at Durant.

Trusts are at the First Nat'l Bank, Durant Bank and Trust and American Nat'l Bank all of Durant, and Boswell State Bank, Boswell, OK. Under Direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard.
