Lillian Natalia “Lil” Wilmeth, 93, of Blanchard, died Monday, October 24, 2016, at her home. The daughter of Fred Thorgersen and Jacobine (Carlsen) Thorgersen, she was born June 23, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois.

Lil and her husband owned and operated Hub & Lil’s Restaurant in Blanchard for 38 years. She was Lutheran in faith. In her spare time, she enjoyed cross stitch, embroidery, jigsaw puzzles, word puzzles, and playing board games with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herbert Thomas “Hub” Wilmeth; and her brother, Frederick Thorgersen.

Lil is survived by one son, Fred Wilmeth and his wife, Lisa, of Traverse City, Michigan; four daughters, Karen McGrew of Blanchard, Lynda Hanson and her husband, Bert, of West Fargo, North Dakota, Debbie Wood and her husband, Daryl, of Norman, and Bonnie Wilmeth of Oklahoma City; ten grandchildren;
sixteen great grandchildren; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
