Eddie Dean Tucker, Jr., 36, of Blanchard, died Friday, June 8, 2012 in Blanchard. The son of Brenda Joyce (McKinzy) and Eddie Dean Tucker, Sr., he was born June 17, 1975 in Oklahoma City. Eddie worked as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver and was a member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Newcastle. He enjoyed driving and working on trucks, playing golf, and riding four wheelers, but his greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family.

Eddie was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Juanita Tucker; maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Eddie McKinzy; and cousins, Christy Tucker, Briley Tucker, and Thomas “T.K.” Fletcher.

He is survived by two sons, Aaron Tucker and Austin Tucker of Newcastle; their mother, Cecily Smith of Newcastle; his parents, Brenda and Eddie Tucker, Sr. of Blanchard; a sister, Becky Garst and husband Todd of Blanchard; four nieces, Kaitlyn, Brianna, Ciera, and Delani Garst, all of Blanchard; paternal grandfather, Earl Tucker of Blanchard; several aunts, uncles, cousins; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Newcastle. Interment will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.
