JoAnn Tillery, 84, of Edmond, died Wednesday, May 18, 2016, in Oklahoma City. The daughter of Rev. E.G. Periman and Nola Pearl (Byers) Periman, she was born October 28, 1931, in Blanchard, Oklahoma.

JoAnn worked for many years as a private duty nurse. She was a member of the Oklahoma LPN Association and Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, talking on the phone, doing crossword puzzles, and reading her Bible. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Louise Williams and Amy Moore.

JoAnn is survived by one daughter, Joan Kathleen Williams and husband, Terry, of Edmond; three sons, Danny Ray Moore and wife, Barbara, of Jones, Michael Kent Tillery of Texas, and Todd Wayne Tillery and wife, Toni, of Oklahoma City; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy Brewer and husband, Wayne, of Harrah, and Eula Blish and husband, Derry, of Texas; two brothers, Frank Periman and wife, Merlene, of Edmond, and Johnny Periman and wife, Rhonda, of Chickasha; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, May 23, 2016, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
