Novetta Gayle (Adams) Swanson, 64, of Blanchard, died Friday, December 12, 2014 in Norman, Oklahoma. The daughter of Floyd Earl Adams and Velda Ruth (Clark) Adams, she was born January 5, 1950 in Lindsay, California. Gayle married Ted Earl Swanson on August 5, 1967 in Blanchard. Gayle was a charter member of Crossroads to Life Baptist Church in Blanchard. In her spare time, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Gayle loved being outdoors and spent countless hours working on the family farm and dairy until her health wouldn’t allow.

She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Emmett Allen Adams; her father, Floyd Adams; and a daughter, Kristi Renee Swanson.

Gayle is survived by her husband, Ted Swanson of Blanchard; two sons, James Brannon Swanson and wife, Misty, of Blanchard, and David Earl Swanson and wife, Tiffany, of Blanchard; her mother, Velda Adams of Blanchard; five grandchildren, Brianna, Sierra, Cooper, Eric, and Dakota Swanson, all of Blanchard; one brother, Floyd Ray Adams and wife, Phyllis, of Blanchard; one sister, Genelle Ruth Schneringer and husband, Dan, of Blanchard; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at First Baptist Church in Blanchard. Interment will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
