Billy Dale “Bill” Riley, 78, of Blanchard, died September 5, 2012 in Norman, Oklahoma. The son of Clara Gracie (Morris) and Jessie Claude Riley, he was born May 4, 1934 in Cement, Oklahoma.

He was a member of the Snow Hill Baptist Church. Bill loved animals and enjoyed woodworking, drawing and gardening. He was a great storyteller and always had a joke to tell. Bill was a self-taught musician and could play many instruments by ear. His greatest love and enjoyment came from spending time with his grandchildren and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter; one brother, Jack Riley; two sisters, Beulah Yale and Delpha Justice; and step-son, Dwayne Holdaway.

Bill is survived by his wife, Maxine Riley of Blanchard; a daughter, Linda Duncan and husband Brian of Pampa, Texas; two sons, Jerry Riley of Elk City and Larry Riley and wife Janet of Tahlequah; two step-daughters, Peggy Scott and husband Jack of Norman and Rebecca Manos of Oklahoma City; brothers, Kenneth Riley and wife Patricia of Blanchard and Gary Riley and wife Sharon of Noble; seventeen grandchildren, Michael, Billy, Justin, Mandy, Tara, Lori, Lisa, Derrick, Noah, Madison, Wes, Carrie, Bobby, Alicia, Ashley, Melissa and Amy; eighteen great grandchildren; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 10, 2012 at Snow Hill Baptist Church in Tuttle with Rev. Emery Dye officiating. Interment will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Lifecare Oklahoma Hospice, Inc., 2411 Springer Drive, Norman, OK 73069 or Snow Hill Baptist Church, 11 S. Morgan Rd, Tuttle, OK, 73089.

Mary Maxine Riley, 82, of Bridge Creek, died Thursday, May 5, 2016, in Norman. The daughter of Newton Smith and Lola Mae (Looney) Smith, she was born January 15, 1934 in Magnolia, Arkansas.

Maxine was a longtime member of Snow Hill Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, especially baking coconut cream pies, dancing at the Tuttle Roundup Club, going to the lake, and gardening. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Dwayne Holdaway, her husband, Bill Riley, and her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by two daughters, Peggy Scott and her husband, Jack, of Norman and Rebecca “Becky” Manos of Midwest City; eight grandchildren, Wes Scott and his wife, Morgan, of Norman, Carrie Ernst and her husband, Chad, of Norman, Melissa Manos of Midwest City, Amy Fowler and her husband, Dan, of Bridge Creek, Bobby Holdaway of Norman, Kirk Ennis of Oklahoma City, Alicia Scroggs and her husband, David, of Texas, and Ashley Gilbert and her husband, Jeff, of Texas; nine great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Snow Hill Baptist Church in Tuttle. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
