Reva Mae Nixon, 95, of Middleberg, died Saturday, January 19, 2013 in Chickasha. The daughter of Franklin Pierce and Francis (Butler) Porter, she was born December 25, 1917 in rural Grady County, Oklahoma.

She married A.G. Nixon on October 10, 1940 in Chickasha. Reva was Baptist in faith and worked as a school and hospital dietician for a number of years before becoming a homemaker. In her spare time she enjoyed growing a vegetable garden. She loved taking care of children and often worked in the church nursery.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, A.G. Nixon; one son, Donnie Nixon; one sister; and six brothers.

Reva is survived by three daughters, Dona Gustafson and husband Paul of Middleberg, Wanda Northcutt and husband Don of Ada, and Alta Northcutt and husband Roy of Ada; ten grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; her twin sister, Reba Hudson of Oklahoma City and another sister, Frankie June Clark of Wagoner; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Midway Baptist Church in Dibble. Interment will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
