Allene Ruth (Ramsey) Masters, 94, of Newcastle, Oklahoma, passed away on December 15, 2022, at her home in Newcastle. The daughter of James Allen Ramsey and Ola Ida (Everette) Ramsey, she was born on March 14, 1928 in Thayer, Missouri.

In life, Allene loved to spend quality time with her family. She was the family historian, always telling stories over the years. She loved flowers and gardening, and cooking. It could be said that cooking was her love language. She loved to cook for people. One of her special recipes was a hummingbird cake. She also had a sweet tooth, specifically for sugar daddies. Allene was the type of person who was accepting of everyone. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lehman L. Masters; her parents, James Allen Ramsey and Ola Ida (Everette) Ramsey; four brothers, James Sherman Ramsey, John Thurman Ramsey, Everett Montgomery Ramsey, and Richard Franklin Ramsey; her twin sister, Ola Naomi (Ramsey) Rudd; sister, Exie Peggy Jean (Ramsey) Odglen; and one grandson, Shawn Masters.

Allene was survived by two sons, James Masters and his wife, Ann, of Murrieta, California, and Donald Masters and his wife, Sandy, of Newcastle, Oklahoma; one daughter, Lynell Fisbeck and her husband, Jerry, of Newcastle, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren, Rebecca Freeman, Jennifer James, Brad Fisbeck, Scott Fisbeck, Amanda Martin, James Masters, and Abbey West; 15 great-grandchildren; and many more loving family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 19, 2022, at Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Newcastle, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard, Oklahoma. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
