Robert Don Lee age 81, of Tuttle, formerly of Newcastle, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at Southwest Medical Center in OKC.

Robert was born on February 1, 1937, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was the oldest of three children born to Virgil Leonard Lee and Lela Kilcrease (Price) Lee. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Erna L. Bass Lee in 1999.

Robert grew up on a dairy farm in Newcastle and attended Newcastle schools, graduating with the class of 1956. That same year, on December 21, 1956, in Newcastle, he married Erna. Together they raised three children, Bobby, Lonnie and Ricky while he worked in OKC for Western Electric Labs. Robert retired from Western Electric after 36 ½ years of dedicated service.

In 2001 Robert remarried. He made a new start with Virginia Price in Tuttle.

Throughout his life, Robert had been a faithful Christian. While in Newcastle, he attended the Newcastle First Baptist Church and had taught Sunday School.   After moving to Tuttle, Robert and Virginia attended the Tuttle First Baptist Church and the Cowboy Church west of Tri City. Robert and Virginia, enjoyed traveling whenever they could. Robert enjoyed fishing, helping his son, Bobby on the farm and raising home grown vegetables in his vegetable garden.   Holidays were a special time for him, because he looked forward when he could spend time with his children and grandchildren. Robert also enjoyed getting together with friends, to play card games, dominos, board games and eat.

He was preceded in death by:
Parents,                Virgil and Lela Lee;
First wife,             Erna Lee on March 1, 1999;
One son,               Ricky Lee;
One brother,                   David Lee.

He is survived by:
Wife,                    Virginia Lee of Tuttle;
Two sons,            Bobby Lee and wife Connie of Newcastle,
                             Lonnie Lee and wife Anne-Marie of Keller, Texas.

Two step-daughters,      Wanda Jobe and husband Dale of Tuttle,
                                      Sheila Casey and husband Ed of OKC.
One sister,                      Delta Faeber and husband Paul of OKC.
Five grandchildren,        Alexandra, Andrew and Abigail Lee, also Blane and Bana Rosson.
Four great grandchildren,        Jayden, Jayce, Jeryn and Regan.

12 step grandchildren,          Timothy,Nicholas,Maleah,Hilary,Jenny,Bree,                                                                              Brooke, Kassie, Brett, Bryan, Natalie and Paige.

14 step greatgrandchildren, Matthew, Alex, Daxon, Dylan, Ian, Abel, Amara,                                Mackenzie, Madison, Brock, Blakely, Grayson, Tristan and Allison.

Also 2 nephews, one niece, several cousins and a host of friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00am Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, at the First Baptist Church in Newcastle.

Interment will be at the Blanchard Cemetery.

A visitation time with family and friends will be from 6-8pm on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Newcastle, 3132 Tri City Ave. Memorials may be made to the Gideons.
