Frankie Jo Hicks, 70, of Blanchard, Oklahoma, died Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at her home. The daughter of Thomas Franklin McKay and Mollie Jane (Tims) McKay, she was born May 28, 1945 in Atlanta, Texas.

Frankie married Olen Rulerford Hicks on February 4, 1984 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was a member of the Maranatha Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and embroidery. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed preparing meals and baking goodies for her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank McKay.

Frankie is survived by her husband, Olen Hicks, of Blanchard, Oklahoma; three daughters, Dot South of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Tammie Hart and her husband, David Burson, of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Krystal Hicks of Blanchard, Oklahoma; two sons, Jamie Hicks and his wife, Shelby, of Ft. Smith, Arkansas and Jeromie Hicks of Maryland; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; her mother, Mollie McKay of Wichita Falls, Texas; three sisters, Lou Kowalske and her husband, Mike, Nancy Stovall and her husband, Glen, and Penny Wilson and her husband, Jimmy, all of Wichita Falls, Texas; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the Maranatha Baptist Church in Newcastle, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery in Blanchard, Oklahoma.
